The built in dataset nottem contains a time series object containing average air temperatures at Nottingham Castle in degrees Fahrenheit for 20 years. 1. (1 point) What time period does the time series cover? When were the highest and lowest temperatures? 2. (1 point) Calculate nottem_c, the corresponding time series in degrees Celsius, including only data in 1925 and later, and plot it. Hint: use window) and do arithmetic on the time series. 3. (1 point) Use auto.arima and forecast from package forecast to forecast the nottem series all the way to March 2019. What temperature should we expect now according to this model? (It's probably not good meteorological science to forecast out that far with this kind of model, but do it anyway for this assignment Plotting the forecast is not required, but will help you see what it's going on)
