Find the configuration file for Apache and modify it. (Note: Expect to spend some time on this step.)
Use vi to edit the httpd.conf file and then add the necessary lines to the configuration file to enable server-status. (Note: the videos in this learning module show the lines already added to the config file. Youll need to consult the Apache documentation to identify the correct lines to add. Theres a link in the Checklist in the learning module.)
Enable extended status by adding the appropriate line.
Add the appropriate lines for the associated virtual directory for server-status and restrict access to 192.168.x.x or whatever IP address your host is assigned.
