A main router is located at the center of the diagram. All clusters and groups show a linear topology. Quadrant 1 contains server cluster and security cluster components. The server cluster consists of a web server, a file server, and an email server. All components are networked to a switch connected to the main router. The security cluster contains two servers connected to the same switch as the web, file, and email servers. Quadrant 2 contains system administrator components consisting of four workstations and a server networked to a second switch, which is connected to a firewall with internet access. Quadrant 3 contains three laptop computers for remote users and a wireless access point. The wireless access point is connected to the main router. Quadrant 4 has five end-user computers networked to a switch that is networked to the main router. Quadrant 4 also has an additional switch, which is networked to the main router. Four components networked to the switch are used for printing management and include a printer, a scanner, and two multifunction photocopiers
