I would like to ask a few questions, just for consideration. First of all, will the system have the compatible properties necessary to combine with the "company's accounting system? Its better to have the software that can work with what you already have in place. Initially, you want to get "time-saving" and accurate results. My next question is willing the system be "automated" throughout? Any actions that deviate from the design of the software could become counterproductive when "saving time". My third question is what nature of data will you be wanting to extract from the tracking program? You need to design and adopt a strategy so you will be able to select the software that is suited to only the relevant information. The next question I have is has the CFO done a thorough cost analysis? You need to be sure that this move is viable and is cost effective. Lastly, I would like to ask, is the application going to benefit the firm to an overall substantial degree? The Systems Developmental Life Cycle should be considered as a means of securing the system for sustainability.
