Nested If Statement

The following algorithm was developed:

if in state $=$ yes then

if student status $=$ under classmen then

tuition $=300$

else

tuition $=400$

end if

else

if student status $=$ under classmen then

tuition $=600$

else

tuition $=900$

end if

end if

In this pseudocode example we see that our algorithm includes indenting but this is just to make our algorithm more readable.

When we translate this to Python, the indenting is absolutely necessary and is how Python will know when one block begins and ends.
