1. Network security

Using the knowledge gained from USS preliminary audit and pentest report complete the following network security exercises.

• Using any visualisation software you are comfortable with (e.g., word, visio or any other software that produces simple diagrams), construct a simple network diagram for the USS campuses. Note: if using packet tracer you may need to place screenshots in your responses.
• Place the following security devices/controls in each USS campus, bearing in mind that these devices do not compromise either the network performance or the security of the network:
  • Firewall
  • IDS/IPS
  • Honeypot
  • Routers/Switches
  • Other devices that may add security value to the USS network
