Guidelines: 1. Use a 3/8" stub drill to create a pilot hole to the depth of the pocket (.500") at the starting position of the end mill. 2. Take 2 roughing depth passes and a .010" finish pass to achieve final depth. 3. Tool Parameters: T1 (3/8" stub drill) - 200 SFM, .002 chip load/tooth. Peck drill cycle with .2 peck amount. Take a .01" T2 (3/8" 2 flute end mill) - 300 SFM, .0025 chip load/tooth,.25 maximum stepover. finish cut on the pocket walls. Be creative. You may use the G150 cycle as many times as necessary to get the proper results. You may also use more than one subprogram if you wish.
