NOTE 3:. When the weekly wages are prepared, the wages Masterfile is updated accordingly. The staff in the Manufacturing Department are paid weekly. Total wages are calculated as normal hours worked + (1.5 x overtime hours worked) multiplied by the rate per hour. The wages function makes use of a clock card system.
