Nowadays, we often hear more talk about Bots and Bot Automation and Robotic Process Automation and not so much about AI Agents and AI circuits. Some even use the two interchangeably as if they were the same. While others would claim that every AI Agent may be a Bot but not every Bot can be an AI Agent. Some would also refer to Bots as Software Robots that can converse with us, serve us and work 24/7 tirelessly on our behalf to do our bidding. This begs the question what is the difference between the two and what makes a Bot an AI Agent or not?

Do you think any AI Agent can be a Bot but not every Bot can be an AI Agent? And what would AI Agents and Bot have to make them perform the same tasks and for the terms to be used interchangeably?
