Assessing process and layout choices at ABC Electronics.

The manufacturing management team has been asked to provide an opening analysis of the

different process and layout choices that are available for the company$$s proposed new plant. The

management team has created a chart $($see below$)$ with the different process and layout choices

and five competitive performance objectives established by senior management. The task for the

team is to assess how well the process and layout choices correspond to the performance

objectives. The choices are high, medium, and low.
