You are to construct a SINGLE BUILDING CORPORATE CAMPUS for a reputable repeat customer. -

DEADLINE of 1 year - with a contractual penalty clause for delays

You will use the CRITICAL PATH technique - to control the schedule tightly - and reduce delays ASSIGNMENTS FOR YOU:

a. Basics: Set project date (HINT: Keep a back date so you can track also), Set Calendar, Create Baseline/s

b. Overallocations: Use several techniques to resolve overallocations

c. Project Tracking: Having kept a back date for Project Start Date - then do tracking using several techniques (don't forget Update Date)

d. Analyse Critical Path in the project - can you crunch dates even more (with and without additional resources)?

e. Analyse Slack Dates

Key Concepts to be implemented: Critical Path ; Slack ; How delays to critical path will impact the project end date; Analyse the impact for those tasks that are on critical path & have slack; Task Inspector & fixing schedulng problems; Interrupting a work on a task (Task Splitting) , Solving Overallocations - by adding Delays
