A current "problem" the company faces that can be solved with the purchase of a business asset and its approximate cost. The business asset must meet the following requirements: It must be used for business purposes to produce income. It must have a useful life that can be determined, and the useful life must be longer than one year. It must be an asset that decays, gets used up, wears out, becomes obsolete, or loses value to the owner from natural causes
