Offer an example of something that changes linearly and something that changes exponentially. Please follow the structure of my example.

For example, I would say:

Part I (a-d)

a.) I would say that the cost of an item at the store can change linearly.

b.) For example, let's say an item costs $5.00.

c.) Then, the cost of two items would be $10.00.

d.) For every additional item, I would pay an additional $5.00.

Part 2 (e-h)

e.) I would say that that population grows exponentially.

f.) For example, a population could be growing by 10% each year.

g.) If there are 100 people, then the next year there would be 10% more which would add up to 110 people.

h.) The following year, there would be an additional 10% people, which would add up to 121 people.
