Question: On Packet Tracer ( 7 screenshots ) 1 . Design and document one LAN with: ( Refer to example topology on page 2 . )

On Packet Tracer (7 screenshots)
1. Design and document one LAN with: (Refer to example topology on page 2.)
Three 2960 Switches
Four PCs
2. Use a logical naming and numbering system in your design. (name, address, port, etc.)
3. Show Device Model Labels, Device Name Labels, Port Labels, Link Lights (Options > Preferences)
4. Connect all devices like the topology below.
5. Design and implement an IP addressing scheme for the LAN. Remember it is only one network!
6. Documentation should be on the topology and include device names/models, ports, network addresses
with prefixes, and any other pertinent information. For all parameters not specified, you choose. (Use
notes for information not shown by labels.)
7. Arrange devices and notes so that information can be seen. Snip your topology (1 snip)
8. Configure all devices and make traffic to verify that computers have connectivity.
9. Configure VLAN 1 interface for each switch
10. Make sure the IP address scheme you chose for the network is appropriate! (All devices must be on the same
network because we dont have a router!)
11. Verify connectivity between the PCs and snip the results.
12. Once configured, devices should ping successfully (3 snip)
13. PC 4 to PC 7
14. PC 4 to PC 9
15. PC 6 to PC 9
16. Configure on all switches:
17. Shutdown VLAN 1 interface (Yes! Even though you have set it up!)
>no ip address
>shutdown
18. Show configurations on each Switch (1 snips)
>show ip interface brief | begin Vlan1(it is case sensitive)
19. Configure NEW VLANs according to the Switch number or a series of 10
(Do NOT use VLAN 1).
>interface VLAN 10
>ip address xxx.xxx.xx.x xxx.xxx.xxx.x
20. Make sure that all IP addresses are part of the same LAN including the ones on the switches. For example:
21. Switch 1=192.168.1.10255.255.255.0
22. Switch 2=192.168.1.20255.255.255.0
23. Switch 3=192.168.1.30255.255.255.0
24. Verify configurations using appropriate commands.
25. Test connectivity once more ONLY between the PCs and snip the results.
The switches will no longer ping due to the VLAN change!
26. Show Ping outcome of after switches have new VLANs (2 snips):
PC 4 to PC 7
PC 4 to PC 9

Submit one Word document with a screenshot of: (change orientation to landscape if needed for topology)
1. Topology (1 snip)
2. Configured PC devices with successful pings (3 snip)
PC 4 to PC 7
PC 4 to PC 9
PC 6 to PC 9
3. Show configurations on each Switch (1 snips)
>show ip interface brief | begin Vlan1(it is case sensitive)
4. Show Ping outcome from PCs after switches have new VLANs (2 snips):
PC 4 to PC 7
PC 4 to PC 9
Example Topology
-Add documentation to the topology
