One way that I would go about assessing the likelihood of a response from a competitor wouldbe to analyze my competitor's past behaviors and preferences to get an insight into thepossibility of a response. This would increase the awareness of the recent behavior seen suchas how they have reacted to other competitors' moves to determine if they are going to respondat all. Next, I would look into the preferences of the competitors how they react to customers,and how they handle service. Getting an insight into this can help show how they respond tocriticism or discontent. This can help show where the competitor has its strengths andweaknesses to become aware of the areas that could use improvement and how they wouldreact to the improvement from the business I am operating.
