One way to get more ideas for your resume is to read job advertisements. Find a job
Question:
One way to get more ideas for your resume is to read job advertisements. Find a job opening to use for this class. It should be one that suits your career interest or field of study. Attach a copy of the job opening. The job description should include qualifications or/and requirements and skills.
You may search any job board or company web site. e.g. Monster, Dice, Linkedin, Careerbuilders, Indeed. For more job boards go to 12 Best Job Search Websites. For purposes of this exercise you may select any job posting with a location in the United States even if you wouldn't apply for the job, because it would involve moving. Pick something you are reasonably qualified to do. It should be a job where you meet most of the requirements. You may pick a job opening even if you do not yet meet a requirement, such as a B.S. in Business Administration. As you are reviewing job openings think about which qualifications and experience you have that you can add to your resume.
You will use this job description as the basis for your cover letter and all your mock interviews. This is one of the documents required before your interviews will be scheduled. SAVE the job opening in a file or cut and paste it into this assignment. Do NOT use a link, because the job post may be taken down before you need it again for this class.
