only answer the part A
PART I Q1. My data is in an ascending order. 2012 2017 Q2 and 4. When I enter a formula for monthly (or annual) returns, I have added a bracket. Rt+1 = (Pt+1Pt)/Pt Q3 and 4. For each measure (statistic), I have come to one single value for each asset. Q5. I did not use any of the following Excel functions. COVAR, CORREL, SLOPE Q5. When I enter a formula for correlation coefficient, I have added a bracket. CORR= XX/(YY*ZZ) Q5 and 6. I have shown the full decimals for Covariance and Betas. Q7. I have shown rf=?, E(rMkt rf)=?, beta =?, and the CAPM equation. I have included the spreadsheets with formula view for the first 4 spreadsheets. Everyone, without formula view, you will lose 18 marks out of 30 marks in Part I. My formula view spreadsheets have row (1,2,3,4,5) and column headings (A, B, C, D, E..). I did not use Round excel function. If you did, your betas would not match. When I referenced the cell, the cell on formula view shows the full address. Sometime, the address is too long and it only shows the fraction of the cell address. What will help? Please use a short name when labelling the spreadsheet.
