Overview: The main assignment for this course is the development and written submission of a production and operations management plan. As a group of 2 or 3 "managers", you will design a template for the production and operations management of a consumer or B2B product or service that MUST be approved by the instructor. (Important Note: If it is a service, it must involve the use of products in delivering the service.) The project will follow the course schedule and each topic covered will be a component within your project: Following the template, you will describe, as completely as possible, all of the components required. It is expected that you will work on your project on a weekly basis based on what we cover in class. There are two parts (submissions) to the project. You will be required to conduct research on your product. Please use as much primary and secondary data as possible. The greater the amount of information and data you submit, the better your grade.
