Overview:

Until recently, technology has been considered an enabler for improvements in underlying supply chain

and logistics operations. However, recent trends in society and business, such as mobile computing,

social media, and online retailing, have significantly changed almost every aspect of the supply chain and

logistics landscape.

Students will be expected to select a manufacturer of technology utilized in supply chains $($eg$.$ Zebra$)$

and respond to the following questions.

Questions:

$1.$ Provide an overview of the company selected including a brief history of the organization, their

mission and vision and an overview of the technology categories they produce.

$2.$ Outline the specific products produced by the company including make$($s$),$ model$($s$)$ and what

the product$($s$)$ are used for. If the manufacturer produces various products and categories limit

it to a maximum of five $(5).$

$3.$ Outline the type of industries the technology is actively used in $($eg$.$ Retail, warehousing,

manufacturing, etc.$)$

$4.$ Outline any areas of growth or development the company may explore expanding into $($eg$.$

Health care$)$ based on your understanding of various supply chains and industries.

$5.$ Provide examples of the company$$s customers and any successes that were qualitatively or

quantitatively achieved through the integration of their products into their supply chains.
