Overview: You will work in groups to complete your final project- Ultimate Leader Profile. Imagine you are on the search committee for the CEO of an organization (the organization can be made up but should be loosely based on an organization you are familiar with). The search committee is charged with building a profile of an ideal leader for the organization. In Unit 4 you will be establishing initial contact via the group discussion board. Your newly formed team will also be submitting the Group Team Assignment Report. You will complete the following milestones leading up to the project submission in Unit 8: Milestone 1: Unit 5: You will be submitting a journal about the progress of your team and the group project. This journal is between you and your instructor only. Milestone 2: Unit 6: There will be a second journal between you and your instructor on the progress of the project. Milestone 3: Unit 7: A rough draft of the project should be completed by the team and submitted by the team leader. Milestone 4: Unit 8: The final project is due and should be submitted by the team leader by Friday at 11:59 p.m. Instructions: Complete a PowerPoint presentation containing the following five sections: 1. Organizational Profile: What type of organization (for-profit, non-profit, or educational)? What is the size of the organization? What population does it serve? Generally, what are the services it provides? 2. Characteristics: What personality traits should this leader have? How do those traits strengthen the individuals ability to lead the organization? Conclusion/Summary: Give a brief, overall summary of the committees profile of an optimal leader for the organization. Requirements: Submit an 8 to10 slide PowerPoint, excluding reference and title page. Develop a minimum of 1 slide for each of the 5 sections. Add visuals such as graphics and images. Be creative! Use using APA format with at least two references and in-text citations. Write the name of each group member on the bottom of each slide. Proofread and spell check!
