The main aim of these laboratory activities is to consolidate concepts covered in lectures, to give practical insight into network security and to aid students with their understanding of networks. This assessment will cover the module's learning outcomes LO$2,$ LO$3$ and LO$4.$ The objective of this coursework is to write a technical report on a network security lab exercise $($scenario given below$)$ that is complete and easily understood; hence it is important that the following points are included in the laboratory experiment:

$-$ The aim of the experiment

$-$ All relevant information required during the experiment

$-$ Notes on procedures not specified in the laboratory experiment

$-$ Any inconsistencies with an explanation given in the lab activity

$-$ Use the questions you answered in the selected activity to help you produce your technical report.

Document your findings in a report of approximately, AND NOT MORE THAN, $5$ pages.

Report Structure

The report must comply to the following structure, otherwise the learning outcomes will not have been

demonstrated.

o Clearly states the aim of the activity.

o Summarizes key findings and results effectively.

o Concise and coherent.

o Provides a brief, clear introduction to the activity.

o Contextualizes the significance of the activity.

o Discuss the various attack vectors, threats and vulnerabilities associated with the

given scenario and what you would recommend as different methods $($from

activity$)$ to protect them.

o Detailed explanation of the process carried out.

o Results are clearly stated and supported by evidence.

o Logical progression.

o Thoughtful personal reflection on the activity.

o Explains learning outcomes and how the activity contributed to personal

growth.

o Summarizes major results effectively.
