Packing factor calculations. Determine the packing factor for the following crystal structures. Show all work/sketches for full marks. Unless otherwise specified, you may assume a motif of 1 atom at 0, 0, 0. (a) The BCC unit cell. (b) The atomic packing factor of the HCP unit cell (c/a = 8/3).
