Identify a project that is a home improvement project (you are the contractor), office move, wedding (you are the wedding planner), another event (you are the event planner), or mobile app development (you are the project manager). Identify your project's lifecycle and the project WBS. After the creation of the WBS, time and cost estimates will be completed. First, complete the detailed time duration estimates and identify the resource roles needed for the project. Second, sequence the project work packages, need a network diagram, and a Gantt chart. You will be creating time estimates, a Gantt chart, and a network diagram for your project. Review each work activity and determine the labor, equipment, fees, or other cost requirements. Labor costs can be a flat fee or an hourly rate. It is possible to have labor, equipment, fees, or other cost requirements for each activity or no costs depending on the activity. Use the attached template to identify costs, then summarize by work package and total for the project.

Part 3 (Word document) The project communication plan outlines the who, where, what, when, why, and how of project communications. Project managers need to manage the information created by the project and disseminate it to the project's primary stakeholders. Communication is critical to managing project expectations and the teamwork of the project team. For your chosen project, create a project communication matrix using the attached template identifying four information sources (what), stakeholders that need the information (who), when the information should be communicated (when), the purpose of the communication (why), and the mode of communication (how).
