Part $1$ of the group project is based on Compensation Roadmap Step $1$ and is covered over the text chapters $1,2$ and $3.$

ORGANIZATION $(3$ marks$)$

Consider the structural variables $($Hint: Compensation Notebook $2\mathrm{.}1).$ By examining each of the structural variables what do you learn about the current managerial strategy? Specifically state the managerial strategy you believe is being used at Kapote Outerwear. Is it appropriate? Why? $(6$ marks$)$

Consider the contextual variables within which the company operates $($Hint: Refer to Compensation Notebook $2\mathrm{.}2).$ By examining the contextual variables within which Kapote operates, what do you learn? $(6$ marks$)$

If you think a different managerial strategy is required $-$ explain what you recommend and why? $(4$ marks$)$

How might this change in managerial strategy change the current structure of the organization, if at all? $(2$ marks$)$
