Up to recent times, the Digicel Group was without question the top Telecommunications Provider in Jamaica and the Caribbean. However, the Group has found itself burdened with debt and a life or death struggle with investors. (The grave issues facing the Group are highlighted in the reference material provided here).
Additionally, COVID-19 has compounded the Groups problems and with the emergence of other Players, some financial analysts cant see them being the Giant they once were and have announced last rites.
With this in mind and as a Strategic Management Consultant Team to Digicel (Jamaica), you are being asked to:
Firstly, read/watch the materials presented below on the company and then conduct an Environmental Analysis/Scan of the company using established strategic management framework.
From the information presented and any other relevant research material, firstly, from the Video belowidentify what you consider to be Digicels three (3) most important accomplishments from a strategic standpoint.
Secondly, prepare an overall strategic design that will assist Digicel (Jamaica) in:
