A Code of Ethics is a formal statement of what an organization expects in the way of ethical behavior as a set of guidelines, standards, and principles.

Considering your responses to questions 1 and 2, develop a Code of Communication Ethics for professionals in your field.

For example, a principle in a code of ethics for a student would be, "Do your own work." In the boxes below, you will develop three (3) principles of communication ethics, explain their importance to your field, and their impact on interpersonal and/or small group relationships. The three (3) principles you develop will comprise your final Code of Ethics.
