"Analyze and describe the impact of organizational culture on performance." Directions: Based on your last paper (assignment 3), create a change-management plan. Put yourself in the position of a consultant making recommendations to the CEO of the organization. For this presentation, you should follow the 8 step Change Process by John Kotter that we read about in week 6. Make sure that in your recommendations you address each of the eight steps and how they apply to your organization specifically. State how the organization can be better prepared to meet the needs and challenges of the future. Defend your argument by using resources to support it. Present your recommendations in an APA formatted PowerPoint presentation of 10-15 slides.(See below for guidelines) Contents Your presentation MUST, at a minimum include the following sections. COVER PAGE (1 slide) INTRODUCTION (1 slide) Provide an overview (brief description) of your organization for your reader - (name, area of focus, brief history, etc.) remember, you had to do this for assignment 3 introduction? CURRENT SITUATION (1 or 2 slides) An evaluation of the current situation (current culture) summary of the key artifacts, values and underlying assumptions that are represented. Brief summary of the culture in the organization. WHY CHANGE IS NEEDED: (1 or 2 slides) An analysis of WHY different aspects of the culture should change in order to better address the needs of the future - be specific in stating the need(s) of the future you are addressing (e.g. strategic direction, client demographics, technology, staffing needs, on-going issues, etc, etc) - be specific .
