Part A Develop a plan to review the digital strategy

You are the HR and Administration Manager of AWS, and the CEO has asked you to review the organisations digital strategy to ensure that the organisation is meeting its goals and objectives. You have been given four weeks to conduct the review and to submit your report and recommendations to the CEO.

As a part of the task, you are required to:

Obtain and interpret information on organisational policies, procedures and objectives relevant to digital strategy

Develop a review methodology

Prepare a review plan

Ensure approval of plan from relevant stakeholders

Task

Based on the scenario above, you are required to prepare a plan to review AWSs digital strategy.

Your plan must contain the following:

Three organisational objectives against which the performance of the digital strategy will be reviewed, including:

two human resources objectives most relevant to the digital strategy

digital strategy specific objectives

organisational values relevant to the digital strategy

Methodology including:

two types of data you will gather to identify how well the strategy is working

two tools for gathering data for review

methods for analysing the collected data

Frequency of data collection and regular review

Personnel responsible for:

gathering data

reviewing data

preparing and distributing reports

Your plan should be no longer than 500 words.

2.Submit your plan for review to the CEO of AWS, by email for approval.

In the body of your email, identify the purpose of the review plan in a few words, and seek approval from the CEO. Use the Email Template in Appendix A for this.

Include your digital strategy review plan as an attachment to the email and send the email to the CEO (your assessor) at an address specified by your assessor.

Ensure that both your plan and the email use technical terminology appropriate to the readers of both documents, as well as a formal style and tone. You must also ensure that your work is free of grammatical errors.

Submission requirements

At the end of this part, submit the following to your assessor by email, at an email address specified by your assessor:

Digital strategy review plan as an attachment

A cover letter requesting the CEOs approval for the plan
