Part A

Please discuss risk management considerations for project planning (Ch. 16 of the text). Please list some general types of risk that a project manager might encounter (list at least 4) and discuss what impact it could have to the project plan. Next discuss the risk evaluation matrix and how we can use it to assess risk and determine which risks to prioritize in project planning.

Part B In class we discussed the procurement process (i.e., obtaining goods and services for project requirements). Chapter 13 of the text also discusses procurement and the types of contract. Please list and define each type of contract (hint: I am looking for four types of contract). Which one would you prefer to use (you can also discuss different types for different circumstances if you would like)
