Part I: Everybody will respond to the same task this week.

You are tasked with improving financial performance at your current job. You'll create a financial dashboard $($see Ch $11)$ that is focused on your own department or service area within the organization. This will be presented to your boss. Draw from the four critical questions $($P$.260)$ in deciding what to include in the dashboard. Again, make it relevant for your own department's $($service area's$)$ needs.

No need to include actual numbers$--$this is more of a conceptual exercise. No need to present a long detailed dashboard like the example in the text. Focus the measures so it makes the most sense for your own area. Keep the measures concrete$--$as if you are designing this dashboard to use, for real!

Finally, walk us through the dashboard as if you are presenting it to senior leadership. Provide a "big picture" introduction, and then explain why each measure is important.

Important: Please don't copy a dashboard you've found online!! However, if you get ideas from an online source, be sure to credit the source. Tell use what you used and how you modified it for this assignment. Use in$-$text citation and include sources in your reference list.
