a. Find ONE local or foreign internet report / journal article / newspaper clippings (must be from 2015 onwards) on AN ETHICAL BUT ILLEGAL MALAYSIAN practice/issue /situation/action/ event. Every student should select a different ETHICAL BUT ILLEGAL MALAYSIAN issue / report on first come first basis. Please book your selected issue/ report by stating your selected issue/ report in this Google document.

b. Discuss the ILLEGAL BUT ETHICAL MALAYSIAN practice/issue /situation/action/ event you selected in (2a)

i. State why the issue is illegal i.e what law(s) were violated / broken by the action

ii. Explain why the issue is ethical or is allowed by the ethical concepts which you have learnt from the textbook although it is illegal or prohibited by existing laws.

iii. Suggest ways to overcome the conflict between law and ethics eg do existing laws need to be abolished or amended, are public debate and awareness campaigns needed etc

iv. Attach your chosen report / journal article / newspaper clippings (must be from 2015 onwards) on the ILLEGAL BUT ETHICAL MALAYSIAN practice/issue /situation/action/ event as Annex B in your assignment.
