Participants searched their own Instagram account for someone with either
1) more followers,
2) less followers
3)about the same number of followers.
They spent as much time as they wanted scrolling through that person's feed and answered questions about it. Researchers measured
1) the amount of time spent scrolling and
2) participants' self-esteem after scrolling.
Use these data to create and interpret Boxplots to answer these questions: 1. Choose either time on Instagram or self-esteem and compare two of the groups (same follower, more followers or fewer followers) on that variable. a. a boxplot for each group and place the boxplots on the same graph. b. Calculate the effect size for the difference between the groups. c. Write a Descriptive Statistics Report (see example) d. Draw the plot neatly on a separate page (not the back of this sheet!) and write the description underneath the boxplot. 2.
