Pattern Play and Building

Gordon was sitting at the table, very busy with the blocks. He was making a color pattern. He put down green, blue, blue, white. "I made a color pattern!" he said proudly.

Then, his blocks fell over and leaned against each other. Gordon didn't mind! He looked at them and said, "Look, it's like a stairs, a very long stairs!"

Hannah came over and sat next to Gordon. She didn't make a pattern. Hannah started lining up her blocks and setting them straight up. "This is a hotel!" she said.

Gordon and Hannah worked quietly side-by-side at the table, building their own amazing creations.
