PDCA Cycle and the 5 Whys:

1. Describe a problem you have encountered in either a business or personal situation. It could perhaps be a process at work. For example, years ago there was a college committee that dealt with the problem of some students having barriers to registration for classes. Or, perhaps you have a personal situation, such as being late for school, work, etc.
2. Explain how either the PDCA Cycle or the "5 Whys" could have been helpful. For PDCA, include the four steps. If you choose to use the "5 Why's", include at least three questions.
3. Why is it important to solve problems in a business setting? What might be the consequences of not solving problems?
