Personalities in the workplace assignment 16 Personalities (based on the Myers Briggs Type Indicator) introduced 4 key areas of our personalities that affect the way we source energy, learn new information, make decisions, and how we prefer to experience our surroundings. These 4 key areas have a significant impact on management and leadership because they impact how we receive, understand and put information into practice.

Planning for Personalities:

• Think of a scenario that you have experienced as either a manager/supervisor or an employee where messages were miscommunicated, or misunderstood.
• Describe the scenario giving background information if necessary, what happened, and the result or impact of the misunderstanding.
• Now, apply what you now know about MBTI - what do you think was the culprit in that scenario?
• Provide a solution(s) that may have helped taking into consideration the MBTI personality preferences.
• 2 page paper
