$12.$ SET UP$/$CLEAN UP

Rental Agreement

$12\mathrm{.}1$ The Lessee agrees to:

set up the tables and chairs;

clean and properly return the table and chairs to the proper designated place when finished;

clean the kitchen and all appliances;

sweep and spot mop the floors so they are clean and in the same condition as before the event;

remove all decorations ensuring that the adhesive does not remove any paint or otherwise damage the walls;

dispose of any flammable materials;

empty all recycle bins, compost containers, and all garbage cans from the halls, kitchens, foyer, and washrooms. Placement of recycling, composting, and garbage must be made inside the appropriate dumpsters located in the West corner of the parking lot at the front of the hall; and

remove all personal belongings on the day of rental.

Note: Failure to clean the hall and properly put away tables and chairs will result in deductions from the security deposit paid.

SOLE POSSESSION

The Lessee agrees not to assign, sublease or re$-$let the facilities and$/$or services to any third party whatsoever and shall keep the facilities under his$/$her responsibility at all times.

INDEMNITY

The Lessee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Lessor and any of its directors, officers, employees and stakeholders against any and all claims arising from any accident, injury or damage sustained by the Lessee or any third party arising from the use of the facility and its surrounding property and any equipment located therein.

MISCELLANEOUS

$15\mathrm{.}1$ The terms of this Contract may only be amended in writing dated and duly signed by the authorized representatives of each party.

$15\mathrm{.}2$ In this Contract, the singular includes the plural and the masculine includes the feminine and neuter and vice versa unless the context otherwise requires.

$15\mathrm{.}3$ No failure to exercise any right or insist on strict compliance with the terms hereof shall operate as waiver of the Lessor's right to$,$ in fixture, exercise any right or insist on strict compliance with the terms hereof.

$15\mathrm{.}4$ This Contract binds the Lessor and their respective heirs, legal representatives, executors, administrators, personal representatives, successors and assigns.

$15\mathrm{.}5$ This Contract is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
