PKGSC 4400/6400: Packaging for Distribution SMALL PARCEL TEST PLAN PROJECT - Spring 2017 Project Definition: You are to design a complete (general simulation level) test plan to evaluate the performance of the given packaged product. This test plan will be based on ISTA procedures. The test plan should include the following: Description of each test to be performed and the order of testing to be followed in your own words. Be sure to properly reference documents used in your test plan. O The test level, sequence of steps, and key test parameters must be specified. Justify test levels where optional. o Reference all necessary ASTM specifications for setup of each test performed. o Specify assumptions and calculations used in determining test levels. o Specify the test equipment to be used for each test. Recommend number of samples to test and justification Specify product damage criteria, packaging degradation allowance, and the method used to assess both. This project is an individual effort.
