Plan to whom it may concern:
As you all know we are making changes to the chips we are using in our software. We are switching from Intel to ARM. These new chips will use less electricity and make the company more sustainable. I know many of you have concerns about this switch slowing your work down and making your working day seem like you have done less work than previously. I am writing to address some of those concerns.
The first person I would like to address is Magna. Magna, you are one of the hardest workers here at this company and I do not take your complaints to this switch lightly that is why I plan to work closely with her making sure she has the right tools within this switch to still excel at her work. I, as well as someone who knows the ARM chip system better, will have weekly/biweekly meetings with her (at her request) to make sure she is getting what she needs and when she needs it. If a couple weeks into this program Magna feels like her workload is too much due to the system being slower we will increase her pay to compensate for the increased work.
As far as the team as a whole I would like to address your concerns. As for the slower systems I will allow more time on projects, a pushed back end dates, from what we are working with previously. We will have more incentives once a project is finished such as coffee or snacks in the break rooms. Although I understand the complaints of this switch I want to assure everyone that their hard work will not be looked over even if the times to complete a project are longer. I will learn with you as much as I can as this new system comes out so I could be more of help and a resource is needed. We will get used to this system in no time and will be monitoring the slow system with the workload and will adjust if needed. Overall, this system will allow us to become more and more sustainable which is making a positive impact on our environment.
