The ultimatum bargaining game involves two players. In the classic game, participants assume that there is a cake or pie of Size 1 that is to be divided. Player 1 makes the first offer, which can be any number between zero and one. Player 2 can accept or reject the offer. For now, let us simply assume that the payoff each player gets is equivalent to the slice of the cake. If Player 2 rejects the offer, no one gets anything and the game is over. If Player 2 accepts, he/she gets the slice that Player 1 offered.

We are going to make the game a bit more interesting. Instead of cake or pie, we are going to use money.
