Do you believe that all individuals should have access to all lawyers and not just what they can afford or hope they get a competent one assigned? I suggest that all lawyers that practice in a jurisdiction should be put into a pool and randomly assigned to individuals not just all the public defenders that are often new lawyers and overwhelmed but all lawyers that for example say they serve the Houston area and those attorneys should have their fees paid based on what they charge a client that comes to them without being assigned that way we have a much larger pool of lawyers for those that cannot afford one and hopefully those individuals that are most vulnerable have better representation what are your thoughts?
