On the discussion board, we will be discussing a question modified from the discussion questions 1, 2, and 3, found at the "Discussion Questions" section of Chapter 5 (Page 199). Take a process that you encounter on a daily basis in your life or at work, such as the lunch cafeteria or the journey from your home to school or work, and identify the bottlenecks that limit the throughput of this process, then identify conditions that would lead to the bottlenecks changing or shifting away from the existing bottleneck. And how could the efficiency of the redesigned process be improved further? Discussion boards will be open only during the time frame allocated on the course schedule for this module, so you will need to make your contributions during that period. Every student is expected to participate in every discussion board.
