LOGS316 Assignment (20 Marks) Topic: Assume you are a Supply Chain Manager in a fast-moving consumer goods company (FMCG) company in Jordan that is expanding locally and internationally with imports of raw materials and exports of goods. The company also distributes products to most governates in Jordan. The management is not happy with the transportation costs and thinking of building a warehouse to optimize the cost and remain competitive. You have been assigned to provide a complete study to the management discussing the below: 1. Warehouse type in terms of ownership and function 2. The location of the warehouse 3. The size and layout of the warehouse 4. Storage solutions 5. Other space needs 6. Type and number of material handling equipment 7.
