mirim card is a project designed by zmir Municipality, which combines payment of several services into a single payment system. Citizens of zmir pay the fee of transportation of various modes, such as; metro, suburban train (zban and Tramizmir), boats and ferries (zdeniz) and buses (Eshot and Izula). Other uses of zmirim card: Izmirim card can also be used in several other activities, such as Bisim, Teleferik, zmir Doal Yaam Park, Ak Veysel Rekreasyon Alan Buz Pisti, Akll Tuvaletler. zmirim Card details: Each card has a chip storing various information about the user; a unique id, account balance, category of user and a timestamp (date and time) of last use. User categories and fees: The user fees are categorized under 4 classes; full fare, student, pensioner and educationist. Use of zmirim card: When the user passes through a counter and scans the card, the system updates the timestamp for last use and account balance. The system also creates a new record for this scan with the following details; card_id, date and time of scan, place of scan and the institution (for ex. If a user scans their card to take the ferry from Bostanl to kuyular, then the place of scan is "Bostanl" and the institution is "deniz Ferryboats"). Assume that you will collect and store data about zmirim Card. All collected data will be stored in a relational database.
