Threads were placed suspended in oil to map the electric field lines. 2) What do you notice about the electric field inside the cylinder? 3) What do you notice about the angle between the electric field line and each point on the surface of each conductor? 4) Some of the field lines for a conductor circle and a conductor rod that are oppositely charged are sketched in fig. 6 below.
