It was found out that 15% of students who enrolled in College Algebra at a large university fail the first time they take it. A psychology professor claims that this could be reduced with a program of counselling. A random sample of 850 students who enrolled in College Algebra take this program and 99 fail anyway. Is this a significant improvement at the 0.05 level? 4. A certain health magazine stated that 14% of men said that they used exercise to reduce stress. At a = 0.05, test the claim wherein, from a random sample of 100 men who were selected, 10 said that they used exercise to relieve stress? 5. A toy company wishes to put a new toy in the market for the Christmas season. It does not want to do so if the manufacturing process produces more than 10% of toys that do not work. In a test run producing 80 of the toys, 10 are found to be defective. Based on this sample evidence, should the company continue to put a new toy in the market? Use 0.05 level of significance
