GUIDELINES
The final project will be based on an ethical issue that you will choose from a given list of provided by your instructor. You must analyze the issue using rational ethical arguments by completing the Ethical Decision-Making. worksheets. Once complete you will prepare a 10min recorded presentation where you will present your findings.
NOTE: Carefully read the RUBRIC at the end of this document so that you know exactly how you will be graded.
Procedure:
On the date provided by your instructor, you will access the sign-up forum posted in Moodle to choose a mini case. This is on a first come first serve basis. If your preference is full, move on to the next one.
You will need to do research on your own (individually) about the ethical issue. Refer to the details, requirements, considerations for each step of the decision-making process laid out in Chapter 3. Complete the ethical decision-making worksheets in Appendix A of our textbook to focus of your analysis and research. Be sure to include all your research including citations and references in this document.
Your analysis should use rational ethical arguments (from concepts covered in the course) and your points must be supported by a minimum of 10 credible sources including the textbook and the video/article.
You will not be marked on grammar or the quality of your writing, only on content including research and citations.
Only include references you are actually citing (summarizing, paraphrasing, or quoting)
You will submit your completed worksheets (WORD or PDF.)
Lastly, using the worksheets document you completed above, prepare a PowerPoint presentation. You will use MS TEAMS to record your presentation. Your presentation should be no more than 10 minutes in length.
Your slides/presentation MUST include:
Quick overview of the ethical situation occurring.
You will present Steps 5 & 6 of the framework.
You are required to present your assessment of all the strategies, then justify and defend your recommended resolution strategy.
in-text citations - on the slides as well as verbally cite each and every information that you
uncovered from research, the text, and from the case (using APA format)
References - your last slide(s) must list all your sources (in APA format) these will include all your references from your framework worksheets.
