a) Explain why is 'Line of balance' method is an appropriate method to provide a suitable construction programme for the 40 units. b) The FIVE major operations associated with the construction of each of the 40 units are given in sequence order in Table 3.1, along with the duration of each operation. Allowing, giving reasons, for a suitable buffer between the start and finish of the different operations draw the line of balance diagram for the 40 units. c) Using graph paper, prepare a rough linked bar chart to present the information obtained in b) above for house number 10, 23 and 36. d) The Regional Director has asked you for your opinion about ways in which delivery of the 40 houses could be improved as time to market is imperative.
