The ball is thrown at a mean time of 2.6 seconds, with a standard deviation of 0.2 seconds with an angle from the vertical of 71.5 degrees (33 degrees from the horizontal) with a standard deviation of 2 degrees. What is the probability of the receiver catching the ball? Provide a histogram showing the distribution of the closest distances. I used the histogram with the 'Normalization','pdf' to make Figure 5a and 'Normalization','cdf' to make Figure 5b with 10,000 simulations. To do the Monte-Carlo look it took about 5 seconds on my laptop.
