Message Actions Expand All Collapse All Brittany Coleman 2 days ago Module 1 discussion I believe in both nature and nurture because it seems like they can go hand in hand. Depending on the situation, nature or nurture can take over more. For example, once you are born that is nature because it's genetics and heredity. No one can change that even yourself. Also don't forget people can be born with disabilities like deaf, blind, inner intestines issues, etc. This is also where you get your talent from either genetics, heredity, or disabilities. After you are born that is when nurture comes in because you are experiencing environmental things. Being raised and having different people around you can be a big impact. Your environment mostly takes over because you have to learn things, but it doesn't mean it's good for you. Nature and nurture goes hand in hand because your environment can help support your talent/abilities or vice versa, but most importantly you need to have motivation behind it. Just like the article mention, "As you can see, having too much talent can also come into the way of you realising your potential. Having too much talent without a nurturing system around you can also hold you back. It is only when a combination of nature and nurture meet in the presence of motivation and intelligence that a true champion is born." Reply Select: All None Collapse All
