Shortly after Mary$$s funeral, Justin was killed in a boating accident. When Josephine was preparing Mary$$s house for sale, she discovered an old insurance policy with a stated death benefit of $$500.$ Mary$$s husband, Charles, was listed as Mary$$s beneficiary. Josephine wrote the insurance company explaining that she had found the policy and that Charles, Mary, and Justin were dead and that she was Justin$$s widow. She asked the insurance company to pay her the $$500.$Several weeks later, Josephine received a letter from the insurance company rejecting her claim on the grounds that it would only pay the named beneficiary, Charles, or if he had predeceased Mary, then Mary$$s surviving son. Should Josephine ask her lawyer, who is probating both Mary$$s and Justin$$s estates, to pursue the insurance company or should she choose inaction as her method of dispute resolution?
